We breathe roughly 20,000 times a day, exchanging gases with our surroundings at every moment. Air quality may be difficult to perceive, but it is closely related to our health.
"Air Matters" is an air quality monitoring app that displays air quality information collected by nearby monitoring stations and presents it through colors, icons and text descriptions.
In Overview, you can see real-time air quality based on your current location. Click the "+" in the upper right corner to add additional locations. Different air pollution levels are displayed in different colors.
Click on a region-specific module to learn more.
In addition to displaying the concentrations of major air pollutants such as PM2.5, carbon monoxide, and sulfur dioxide, the APP also provides targeted health advice, such as whether sensitive people need to turn on air purifiers, and whether the elderly and children should reduce outdoor activities. You can also view air quality forecasts for the next 5 days.
In the Map, you can see the air quality values for each region, along with the corresponding color-coded "heat map". The neatly arranged data is pleasing to the eye.
