Day R Survival is set in  in 1985, the year of the Soviet era nuclear power plant accident. Violence, famine, and disease now rule this country, which turned into a radioactive wasteland in a matter of days. One of the few survivors is you. You now have to search the enormous USSR of the post-apocalyptic 1980s for your family.
